For the First Time, Texas Court Hears Oral Arguments

The Fifteenth District Court of Appeals held its inaugural oral arguments, including the media fight over access to Texas Department of Public Safety records of the Robb Elementary shooting investigation.

• The 15th Court of Appeals, which opened Sept. 1, heard its first cases on oral argument Wednesday.
• The first two cases were In re Google LLC and DPS v. Texas Tribune et al.
• In the Texas Tribune case, the state appealed an order granting 14 news outlets access to Uvalde shooting records.
